Women, Safety, and Being Abroad
Cross-cultural adaptation is sometimes necessary in a new culture and society. Sometimes, women specifically need to take into consideration the impact or traveling and/or residing in a new culture and society. Students are encouraged to visit with international students here at UCCS or other individuals who have traveled extensively to gain in-person knowledge about being abroad. International Affairs also works with individuals preparing to go abroad to be adequately prepared for any special considerations and to be abroad.
